He has worked on live entertainment network shows, filmed major drama productions and is equally at easy on small single camera corporates.

He started as a camera operator with Scottish Television back in 1979, thus realising a long held dream. Later after a short spell with Glasgow media faciilty Scope, he went freelance in 1991.

He has a natural ability and eye for composition and can cope with the ever changing demands of live television. He is a fully capable pedestal studio cameraman, plus for the past 14 years, has worked on major sports OBs for Sky Sports and ITV Sports and Setanta.

He has been part of the core camera crew on Champions League football including the finals in Glasgow and Manchester, the 2002 World Cup in Japan, the Euro 2004 in Portugal, the 2005 Confederation Cup and the 2006 World Cup in Germany. 

Other major events he has contributed to are - Live 8 in Edinburgh for BBC, Golf for ESPN/NBC and for the past 10 years, T In The Park, again for the BBC - the annual music event in Scotland, which attract the biggest names in the music business.
